YOUR SMART SUMMER STARTS NOW! The Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth was founded in 1979 to challenge insatiable learners, curious kids who never stop asking questions and searching for answers about how the world works. Summer Programs: CTY offers full-day and residential experiences to challenge kids when school is out. Their engaging three-week courses for students in grades 2-12 are offered at two dozen sites in the U.S. and Hong Kong. The Hastings College Scholars Academy (HCSA) is a premier one-week summer program for gifted and talented seventh and eighth grade students. The Hastings College Scholars Academy is a great place for scholars to come together, make new friends among their intellectual peers and experience small academic classes designed to provide challenging and enriching opportunities in mathematics, communications, robotics and science. University Nebraska Omaha, Aim for the Stars: Kids gain fun, hands-on math and science knowledge in areas like astronomy and zoology - and everything in between! Aim for the Stars offers several week-long camps throughout the summer that provide campers with education and entertainment.Girls & boys grades 4 through 10 UNO: Techademy Camp: Registration starts in mid March. Explore the resources available to young entrepreneurs in college.Register: WHO: For students entering 7th through 9th grades in fall 2022 REGISTER HERE: www.myeb.eventbrite.com Lincoln: Bright Lights Summer Learning Adventures: Bright Lights is a non-profit organization that has established a long tradition of offering engaging, high quality summer learning classes for elementary and middle school students (grade level as of April 1). With more than 100 classes offered each summer, there is something of interest for every student. Bright Lights is not affiliated with the public schools and has no residency requirements. Bright Lights main program site is at Holmes Elementary School, 5230 Sumner Street, where 75% of our classes are held. The International Program is at Lux Middle School, 7800 High Street and remaining classes are held at community sites. Rose Theater Camps -- Omaha: No matter what your child’s interests, your young performer can find their place in the spotlight with outstanding classes and camps designed to encourage a love of performing.
